It is important to us that our apprentices fit well into the team, enjoy their job, and are open to learning new things. They are supported in the workshop by journeymen at every branch (Vienna, Wöllersdorf, Hörsching, Eugendorf, Mäder). We want to take on all apprentices whose performance is convincing in the company. After the successful journeyman’s examination, we enable further internal advancement from camp management to workshop foreman. You can also rely on our support for further training (e.g. driving licenses and forklift licenses).
Our apprenticeships
Truck technician (f/m/d) with a focus on commercial vehicle technology and system electronics
Duration of training: 4 years
- Carrying out repair, maintenance and service work
- Application of electronic measuring and testing methods
- Testing and replacement of coolants, lubricants and other liquids
- Completion of regular service work such as annual vehicle inspections
- Positive compulsory school-leaving certificate
- Technical understanding and craftsmanship
- Good manners and team spirit
- Willingness to work and learn as well as punctuality
- Fascination with large vehicles
- 1st year of apprenticeship: € 900.00
- 2nd year of apprenticeship: € 1,090.00
- 3rd year of apprenticeship: € 1,425.00
- 4th year of apprenticeship: € 1,870.00
*Apprentice income above collective agreement
Operational logistics
Duration of training: 3 years
- Goods acceptance and incoming inspection including invoice verification
- Warehouse organization, storage location management and picking of goods
- Monitoring of stock levels and supply of spare parts in the workshop
- System-supported merchandise management and ordering
- Customer support with regard to the sale of technical spare parts
- Positive compulsory school-leaving certificate
- Interested in commercial training in a technical environment
- Good manners and team spirit
- Willingness to work and learn as well as punctuality
- Commercial skill
- Fascination with large vehicles
- 1st year of apprenticeship: € 800.00
- 2nd year of apprenticeship: € 1,025.00

Office management
Duration of training: 3 years
- Support in order processing and ordering
- Completion of external and internal correspondence with MS Office
- System-supported data management
- Written and telephone processing of customer inquiries
- Participation in mail processing (incoming and outgoing mail)

- Interested in commercial training in a technical environment

Our application process
1. You send us your application (CV, letter of motivation, photo, certificates) using the online form, email or post.
2. We take a close look at your documents. We select the first suitable candidates and forward the profiles to the respective manager.
3. The first contact is made by telephone or in writing by our HR department or the apprentice coach.
4. Getting to know each other personally in the course of trial days & recruitment test
5. A final interview with HR or the apprentice coach and the manager
6. The final decision is a verbal and written confirmation of employment!

Q&A apprenticeship
at IVECO
We expect our apprentices to be interested in and enjoy large vehicles, as well as technical and/or commercial training. You should also bring team spirit, commitment, logical thinking skills, good manners and punctuality.
We offer subject-specific and practical training in teams, certificate bonuses for very good and good school performance, company events such as a summer party, Christmas party, various further training courses, washing service for work clothes, food allowance and assumption of costs for boarding school and tutoring.
